EDO STATE ELECTION: Oshiomhole Tribalist, Clannish -- Ize-Iyamu

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate for the upcoming September 10, election in Edo state, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu has described Governor Adams Aliu Oshiomhole as a tribal and clannish leader who was only interested in developing his village of Iyamho at the expense of other communities in the state.
He said that in his clannish disposition, the governor has tarred over twenty roads in his Iyamho village as against only one in Esan West local government which he has just
flagged- off.

Ize- Iyamu, who spoke in Uromi, Esan North- East local government area during the flagged-off the senatorial zone for the governorship campaign, lamented that in spite
of the over N1.4 trillion received by the Oshiomhole administration in the last eight years, Edo state had nothing to show for it in terms of the provision of social amenities and infrastructures.
Also reacting, Chief Press Secretary to Governor Adams Oshiomhole, Mr.Peter Okhiria described the statement by Pastor Ize-Iyamu that Oshiomhole was a tribalist and clannish as untrue.
