“Why Dan Orbih be drinking panadol for another man’s headache?” - Afegbua, Edo PDP alleges plans by Oshiomhole to spend N5bn few days before exit

The Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) Edo State chapter, has accused the outgoing governor of the state, Adams Oshiomhole, of plotting to spend about N5 billion few days to
his exit from office on Saturday, claiming that the governor has sent the sum as supplementary budget to the state House
of Assembly for approval.
Meanwhile, the state Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Prince Kassim Afegbua, while reacting to the PDP, simply said: “Why Dan Orbih be drinking panadol for another
man’s headache?”
PDP, at a briefing in Benin by its chairman, Chief Orbih, also said the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, had given the party unhindered access to inspect voting
materials used in the conduct of the September 28 Edo State governorship election as directed by the tribunal.
On the visit of President Muhammadu Buhari to Edo State, the PDP chairman asked Governor Oshiomhole to take Mr President on a facility tour of his Iyamho country home,
claiming Mr. President would be “commissioning a ward of an existing hospital, a private university built with state money and a resurfaced road. “We have observed with displeasure the despicable financial actions of the governor.
They range from the approval of inflated contracts to proposed presentation of a supplementary budget of N5 billion that he wants to spend in less than eight days to his exit as governor,” he said
