Bag Snitcher Got Himself Almost Killed By Bikes Riders.
A young man was almost beaten to death by a group of motorcyclists after snatching a woman's handbag before some Federal workers could rescued him.
The incident took place in the morning on Thursday, September 22, at the SDP junction in the area.
According to an eyewitness, the man identified only as Daniel, trailed the unidentified victim who had a baby strapped to her back on a motorcycle after leaving the bank.
Immediately she got off the bike, Daniel snatched the handbag and took to his heels. Unfortunately for him, a group of
motorcyclists chased him down and apprehended him, tearing off his clothes and giving him the beating of his life .
According to the eyewitness, “Some motorcyclists went after him, caught him and started beating him. They removed his clothes and left him on the ground,"
Daniel was reportedly beaten severely and left for dead before some officials of the civil defence corps and officials of the National Union of Road Transport Employees, NURTE, picked him up.
