PDP Candidates Air Marshal Isaac Alfa wins Kogi State Rerun election

Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Air Marshal Isaac Alfa has
won the Kogi East senatorial rerun election.
The Kogi State Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) returning officer, Professor Lucky Ovwasa, made the announcement on Sunday in Kogi State, north-central Nigeria.
He said that Air Marshal Alfa gathered a total vote of 56,572 ahead of his opponent from the Labour Party with 111, 908 total votes scored.
The election was characterised by low turnout of electorate in all polling units of the eight local government areas of Kogi State.
